MS-L Crochet Holiday Garlands

Join us for a crochet make-and-take workshop for absolute beginners! We will be making holiday-themed garlands out of yarn and felt. 

This will be a very low-stakes opportunity to learn 2 basic crochet stitches: the “single crochet” and the “chain” stitch. We will be using these two stitches to join motifs together to create garlands.  

More experienced crochet-ers may decide to make their motifs with crochet (this may be an opportunity to attempt some challenging patterns since the instructor will be there to troubleshoot), while novices will have the opportunity to design and assemble motifs from felt and hot glue. 

Fiber artists are also welcome to bring their projects and come hang out - no need to sign up and pay.

This class is for all skill levels. No prior experience required, just a willingness to learn.

All materials will be provided, and feel free to bring your own as well. 

Please bring eyeglasses and/or wrist braces as needed. If you need additional accommodations, please reach out to the instructor ahead of time.

We will meet in the main room at the Leesburg location.
